According to reports, Oppo is gearing up to launch its brand new Reno 4 Pro in India this month. A listing on Flipkart has just revealed the launch date as a new leak indicates that the Oppo Watch will follow the new smartphones.
The new leak comes as a courtesy from Ishan Agarwal. He revealed in a new tweet in collaboration with PriceBaba, that the Reno4 Pro and Oppo Watch will be released on July 30. However, Flipkart’s landing page states it will actually come a day later on July 31.
The smartwatch is likely coming on the same date. The page includes some images of the smartphone and shows that the Reno 4 Pro will have a punch-hole at the top left of its curved display. According to OPPO, this panel follows the “3D Borderless Sense Screen” standard. In other words, it’s a marketing title.

The report further states that the Oppo Reno 4 Pro will be available for pre-order as soon as August 4. The actual sales will start on August 5. It was also revealed that those who purchase within the first three days the phone goes on sale will receive free full damage protection for 180 days. That’s a great deal to ensure your device’s integrity and make it accident-proof. As far as the Oppo Watch is concerned, it will be available in both 41mm and 46mm variants. It may have a price tag of about INR 15,000 (~$200) and INR 20,000 (~$267) respectively. Moreover, fans should expect it to hit the shelves in August.
RENO 4 AND 4 PRO SPECIFICATIONS
The Reno 4 comes with a 6.43-inch display with a pill-shaped cutout for dual-selfie camera setup. The Oppo Reno 4 Pro has a larger 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a single punch-hole camera. Under the hood, both handsets boast Snapdragon 765G SoC with up to 12GB of RAM. On the camera department, we have triple-camera arrays for both handsets featuring a main 48MP sensor. The punch-hole setups are powered by a primary 32MP sensor. There is a 4,000mAh battery keeping the lights on.
Both devices received multiple certifications during this month. That is a good hint that both smartphones will be hitting not only India but Global markets in the future. Of course, considering that the effects of COVID-19 are still distracting rules in the smartphone market, customers in Europe may still need to wait a couple of weeks. Meanwhile, Indian customers will have more 5G-ready smartphones to choose once the new network launches in the country.
