By Using CTRL + PrtSc command.
Using this keyboard command and shortcut, one can easily take a screenshot on Windows or Screen Grab Windows. When you use this command, Windows automatically save the entire screen to your PC’s clipboard. After this has been done, you can now launch an editor, paste the picture, edit and save to any location of preference.
By Using Windows + PrtSc
This method of saving a screenshot on a PC allows you to save the images automatically. The entire screen is grabbed and saved automatically without asking you to select the part you need or copying to the clipboard. Images for the screenshot are stored in the normal pictures library. To check this, locate your screenshot folder for images and you’ll find your screenshot around.
By Using Alt + PrtSc
This command allows you to screenshot an active window. To use this shortcut, open the Window you want to screenshot and press the shortcut.
By using Fn + PrtSc.
Pressing this command is more or less and equivalent to using Windows + PrtSc

Fn + Alt + PrtSc
It also takes the screenshot of an active window. It is equivalent to using Fn + Alt + PrtSc

With this, an active window is saved allowing you to edit it by pasting using an Alt+ PrtSc Windows shortcut.

People that use Windows 10 can use this as it would allow you to grab a region of the screen and safe to your preferred folder.
Using the Snipping Tool.
Snipping tool is an app or inbuilt software that can be used to make screenshots. To use the snipping tool, click on the start menu and search Snipping Tool. Launch it and select the area where you want to screenshot. After taking a screenshot, you can then save with a name and to any location of your choice.
