Samsung has started rolling out One UI 3.0 based on Android 11 to the Galaxy A51 in India. This is coming after the update was released to the device in Russia. The new update which is via OTA has come with firmware version A515FXXU4DUB1 and also with the February 2021 security patch.
The Galaxy A51 was one of Samsung’s best-selling smartphones in the world last year. It was launched running on One UI 2.0 update based on Android 10 but was later updated to One UI 2.1 and One UI 2.5 as well. Now, a new update has been pushed to the device.
The phone was launched sporting a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display, with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It is powered by an Octa-core Exynos 9611 processor, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The Galaxy A51 has a storage capacity of up to 128GB and this can be expanded using a memory card.
For the battery, the device packed an inbuilt 4000mAh battery capacity. It has a Fingerprint display and comes in Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, Prism Crush Blue, and Prism Crush Pink colors.
To see if your device has gotten the new update, simply go over to Settings > Software update > Download and install to check whether your handset has got the update yet. It is said the Galaxy A51 will be receiving the One UI 4.0 (Android 12) and One UI 5.0 (Android 13) update as well.
